This elegant drop point gentlemen's folder features rainbow hued black lip pearl inlays that absolutely glow. sleek with an undeniable heft

I was holding a large pair of stunning matched Mother-of-Pearl scales. They were nice and thick, and I mused it would be a shame to trim these scales to fit a folder since I had other matched scales more appropriate for folders. But a boot knife ... yes, these scales would work perfectly on a sleek and trim boot knife. Trying to catch the full spectrum of subtle color shifts in these scales was a challenge. I took a number of photos using different backgrounds, so perhaps some idea of the iridescence of these scales will come through.

menace and beauty come together

What a joy it was making this fixed blade camp knife. I had been looking forward to using that wicked carbon fiber polymer as a handle material, and in the end it did not disappoint. I took several photos of the completed knife on different backgrounds trying to capture both the depth and the iridescence of this remarkable material. However, I didn't neglect some views of the knife that showcase the fit and smooth grind lines of the knife itself.
